Risk Management Studio v4.7.2 release includes several new upgrades and minor modifications. Here is the release summary:
-
-
- Rich Text Editor included in text boxes providing font adjustments, bulleting and numbering, and most importantly hyperlinking – allowing you to link to documents stored on your internal company storage areas.
- Risk Owner identification added to the Risk Assessment and Risk Treatment. Now you are able to define the Risk Qwner for each risk identified along with defining the Asset Owner. The Risk Owner identification is a critical part of the ISO 27001:2013 revision, as organizations now have the ability to evaluate each risk and assign owners responsible for the control implementation for risk mitigation.
- In the Risk Treatment we have updated the terms used for managing the identified risks to meet the revised 27001:2013 vocabulary:
- Share – was Transfer
- etention – was Accept
- Avoid the opportunity – was Avoid
- Reduce – no change
- Behind the scenes we moved the Policy Store for the Security settings from a file based storage system to a database storage system. The User defined roles and responsibilities are saved on the database and transfer with database migrations and system upgrades.
- The Control Maturity Effectiveness Assessment reporting received an upgrade that included adding more information into the report for a better view of the implemented control data.
- A few minor bug fixes were also performed to improve the overall product functionality and performance. The bugs are often identified by our users and we strive to remedy each one as soon as possible, while maintaining the integrity of the system.
