Riphah International University receives grant from RM Studio

Riphah International University has been awarded a grant valued at $42,000 annually to utilize RM Studio with an objective of expanding the global awareness of Information Security and Risk Management and build the capacity of Riphah to impart quality education of international standards. Through the partnership RM Studio will be integrated in the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula of the university to supplement theoretical learning with hands-on practical skills. Riphah International University has recently launched MS in Information Security to address the growing need of information security professionals in Pakistan. The program aims to develop core competencies in the field of computer network security, application security and information security management. The participants of the course will learn the technical aspects of information security by understanding current threats and vulnerabilities and examining ways of developing effective countermeasures. The program is jointly offered by Riphah Institute of Systems Engineering (RISE) and Faculty of Computing at Riphah.

Riphah International University is also one of the leading training organizations in the field of Information Security. It is the first organization to introduce the Certified Ethical Hacking, EC-Council Certified Security Analyst, and Licensed Penetration Tester training in Pakistan.
