Knowledge and experience regarding security of computer systems and security standards ISO/IEC 27002 & ISO/IEC 27001
Has good knowledge on ISO/IEC 27001. Has attended 2 seminars at BSI in London:

• Implementation of ISO/IEC 27001.
• "Work-shop" in risk analysis and risk assessment.

Has reviewed security and organisational handbooks for various parties for conformity with ISO/IEC 27002. Has worked on risk analysis and preparing risk assessments according to the ISO/IEC 27002 security standard. Substitute security manager of Stiki .

Lead Auditor Course for training managers of audits in companies that plan to or have already applied for security certification according to ISO/IEC 27001. Has given lectures based on security standards about computer security and data protection at conferences, for various companies, at the Institute of Continuing Education of the University of Iceland and for organisations. Was involved in the translation of ISO/IEC 27001 into Icelandic and has promoted it in cooperation with Icelandic Standards in various ways, e.g. at conferences and in articles. Teaches the use of ISO/IEC 27002 and ISO/IEC 27001 at courses held by Icelandic Standards.

Knowledge and experience regarding security of computer systems
Extensive knowledge of computer systems security, regarding design, operations and consulting. Has worked on such projects for Islandsbanki, The Icelandic Centre for Research, the Ministry of Health and Social Security, the Directorate of Health and healthcare organisations. Has worked as a consultant regarding security of computer systems for The Icelandic Data Protection Authority.

General knowledge and experience in project management
Founder and managing director of Stiki since 1992. Technical manager of Stiki and is responsible for the technical operation of Stiki's computer systems. Project manager of many projects at Stiki, e.g. for Islandsbanki, The Icelandic Centre for Research and the Ministry of Health and Social Services. For example:

• Work for Islandsbanki includes managing the development of mathematical models and designing computer systems for providing information as well as consulting regarding the bank's pension system.
• Has managed the development of information systems for The Icelandic Centre for Research, e.g. for documents for grant applications.
• Has managed and controlled the development of the computer network of RAI and the admission evaluation of the Ministry of Health and Social Security. This network links together 60 - 80 healthcare organisations around the country.
• Supervised the development and operation of the computer system for Frikort (Loyalty cards) from 1997 - 2002 and technical operation of the system itself from 2000 - 2010.
