RM Studio is proud to announce the latest module within our risk management software, the Business Continuity Management (BCM) module. The BCM module will be an option with the upcoming RM Studio 4.0 release.
What is BCM?
Business Continuity Management is aggregate management process of identifying potential threats to a business entity and the impact to operations those threats pose, and the necessary steps needed to carry on business operations during disruption.

The RM Studio - BCM Module is based on the framework of BS 25999, and assists users in developing business continuity plans for their organizations, or sectors of the organizations. It is an all in one module keeping all of the information for Business Continuity Planning in one place. The BCM includes:
- Templates for implementing the necessary documentation and records about the organization and Business Continuity Plan components.
- Assist in identifying stakeholders, their critical ranking to the organization, and the expectations towards operations during normal periods and during disruptions.
- Organizes contacts in teams who carry out the continuity plans and allows you to compile an extensive list of all contacts, from internal to external, which play a role in any aspect of your business continuity plans.
- Assist users in identifying resources/processes and the associated critical ranking, develops an impact analysis on resources by disruptions (MTPoD, Recovery Time Objective, Minimal Service), and links resource requirements needed to fulfill operational objectives.
- Outlines the plan steps to address disruptions and towards recovery, and provides a maintenance overview that records all of the test of various plans created with in the module, or test done by outside organizations.
- All the Business Continuity Management information is kept in a centralized repository and can be exported into essential reports with the click of a button.
